The SMP software now enables the user to continuously record FFT data every 0.5 seconds, which is saved to a single Excel document when using the SMP device with any of the selective probes (WPH-DC, WP400 series and WP10M).

 The user has the option to monitor and continually record the time evolution of the FFT data with the aid of this new function.

This feature can be enabled when using the ‘Live Measurement’ tab on the PC software, either via fiber optic cable for both E and H field measurement or the USB-C cable (only H field).

Follow these steps to enable this new feature:

• Step 1: Go to Live Measurement tab and set FFT parameters.
• Step 2: Click the ‘Start saving data..’ button.
• Step 3: Save the report to your PC where your data will be recorded.
• Step 4: Click the same button to stop data recording. The saved Excel file will contain the FFT and the time data (including the RMS and Peak values).
